Our Factories

Our factories play a key role in our sustainability efforts. That’s why we have developed a Code of Conduct, along with a Product Material Appendix, which all suppliers must sign in addition to our supplier agreements.

Our Code of Conduct sets requirements for all our suppliers regarding working conditions, human rights, safety, non-discrimination, and anti-corruption, as well as environmental standards, chemical management, product safety, and packaging.

Our factories are located in Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, and Jiaxing, China. We have been working with our main factory since the very beginning of ADOORE. This long-standing partnership has allowed us to build a strong, reliable collaboration—ensuring we uphold the highest standards together. Read more about our main factory below.

To uphold fair labor practices, we visit our factories at least once a year. These regular visits allow us to ensure compliance with our strict standards for working conditions, safety, and environmental responsibility while actively supporting on-site improvements. They also help us build strong, long-term relationships with our partners.

Shenzhen, China

Our factory in Shenzhen is a small, female-led factory that delivers incredible quality. This is the factory we have been working with since 2018 and where we have produced the majority of our clothing throughout the years.

Working hours
All employees work 08.00-17.00, Monday to Saturday. All employees receive a pension and have the right to apply for vacation during all holidays, such as Chinese New Year (one month), birthdays, weddings, and other occasions.

Working Conditions
The factory is responsible for further education for the employees so they can develop in the profession and thus develop in their careers.

The factory currently has a WCA certificate. The WCA certificate is valid for one year, which means that our factory must apply for a new one every year.

WCA addresses the following and more:

  • Labor (Child/Forced Labor, Discrimination, Discipline, Harassment/Abuse, Freedom of Association, Labor Contracts)
  • Wages and Hours (Wages and Benefits; Working Hours)
  • Health and Safety (General Work Facility, Emergency Preparedness, Occupational Injury, Machine Safety, Safety Hazards, Chemical and Hazardous Material, Dormitory and Canteen)
  • Management Systems (Documentation and Records, Worker Feedback and Participation, Audits and Corrective Action Process)
  • Environment (Legal Compliance, Environmental Management Systems, Waste and Air Emissions)

The factory has also been audited by the social auditing system Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), developed by Amfori. This demonstrates that employees have reasonable working hours and fair compensation, a safe and healthy working environment, and protections for younger workers. The report also verifies respect for freedom of association and collective bargaining, ethical business conduct, and environmental responsibility. Additionally, the factory ensures there is no child labor, forced labor, unsafe working conditions, or discrimination.
